“CASTLE KITCHENS”, The Series
ACIENT RECIPES
We set out in search of ancient recipes that have often remained hidden, having been passed down only within the families who own these historic residences.
In the kitchens that are still in use, we will witness the preparation of historic dishes, some still enjoyed today, while others have been completely forgotten. We will also have the opportunity to document and describe the original recipes for these dishes.
PRIVATELY OWNED KITCHENS WITHIN HISTORIC RESIDENCES
With the collaboration of the Italian Historic Houses Association (ADSI), whose 5,000 members and properties are distributed throughout Italy, we decided to bring these documentaries to life. Guided by passion and determination, we travelled across the country to film the furnishings and utensils and to prepare ancient recipes in their still-functioning historic kitchens.
